“Technology-Assisted Family Mediation” Pilot Project Evaluation Reports

Susanna Jani, Project Manager, and a group of adventurous Family Roster Mediators have been engaged in the “Technology-Assisted Family Mediation” pilot project over the last year for the B.C. Mediator Roster Society. The pilot project has been completed and the evaluation documents are ready for distribution. We are pleased to share the final Evaluation Report for the project, along with its Appendices, and a publication which captures the learning of our project team, “Mediating From a Distance: Suggested Practice Guidelines for Family Mediators” (also referred to as “Appendix D” in the Evaluation’s Appendices).

These documents are an excellent resource for technology-assisted family mediation. Congratulations are due Susanna and the skilful team of Family Mediators who diligently worked to complete the pilot project and add to the collective learning in this new field. Colleen Getz, of CA Walker & Associates, who completed the evaluation reports with Susanna, is also thanked for her excellent work.

Please feel free to forward the documents to any colleagues who you think they may interest. Should you have any questions about the project, please direct your inquiries to distanceproject@shaw.ca or Skype: susannajani.
