Two Day Course on September 29-30, 2010 Featuring Nina Meierding
Workshop Title: The Impact of Culture and Gender on Negotiation and Mediation
Location: The Croatian Cultural Centre, Room B
3250 Commercial Drive, Vancouver, BC.
Free Parking is Available on Site
Course Description:
This “jam-packed”, highly interactive, two day training will explore how culture and gender impact the way that information is processed, communication is expressed, power is exercised, risks are evaluated, decisions are reached, truth and fairness are defined, humor is experienced, relationships are valued, and body language can be misunderstood. Learning these concepts can help us become more attuned to cultural differences and be even more effective as mediators.
